The process of obtaining a medical marijuana card in MA including the evaluation of your qualified patient application, can take up to 30 business days. After a patient or caregiver has completed the application process, it takes about 2-3 weeks for the plastic medical marijuana identification card to be delivered. After registration, the patient or caregiver will be able to download a temporary paper MMIC from the online system that is valid for four weeks.
